Re: Walking away with you.
That's just a fine job Alex. Those are some heart wrenching lyrics with melancholy chords to match the mood. You’ve done quite good.

I hope you dont think i'm a psycho like everyone else who's read the lyrics
Re: Walking away with you.
Not at all but I can see you get a good connection to your emotions when you write them.

Hi Alex,
Another good one from you although I am looking forward to you recording this one to hear how you intended the long D in the chorus to be sung. That is if you have time between the feeding and nappy changing.

Re: Walking away with you.
Looks a good one Scrimmy. Some good lyrics for sure, and not any hint of psycho-ness in there to me....but then maybe all that means is I'm one too
Well done though, and looking forward to hearing it.

Re: Walking away with you.
Great job Scrimmy.I listened to it a couple times,it's got good flow.nice song thanks.
...Badeye.
Re: Walking away with you.
Hi Alex,
Like Badeye I also listened to this a couple of times and the long D in the chorus that I was struggling with actually works really well. I am very pleased you found time to record it as it is a far better song than the way that I was interpreting it
Thank you,
Roger
Re: Walking away with you.
Yeah, I quite like the way the D fits in myself, its called lack of imagination
