Guitar chord forum - chordie → Guitars and accessories → Best Acoustic/Electirc for $1000
Been playing an Washburn acoustic for a few years and looking to upgrade to an Acoustic/Electric. I'm mostly into playing folk and classic rock. Lots of strumming open chords and some short leads when necessary. A new guitar will come first, then the amp will follow when adequate funds are availabele. I've been looking at the Tayle 210ce. Haven't looked at amps yet. Any opinions/suggestions for either?
Wow... Where to begin..Opinions being what they are and knowing full well that everyone has one...My only recommendation is to find a good shop with a quiet room (no 12 year old metal heads nearby trying every pedal!), and try everything in your price range. I won't suggest a brand. I know what I like. I don't know what you like. Names aren't everything. Sometimes I wish they'd hide the head stock while you do the test drive. You might be surprised by what you take home. Good luck.
