Guitar chord forum - chordie → Chordie's Chat Corner → Name the slide player
I have been trying to find who plays the sweet slide licks on the tv show "The Closer" the music credits list James Levine but I'm not sure if he plays the guitar on the sessions I would appreciate any info on who the guitar player is 
I have searched for the last few weeks with no results so I am leaning towards a session guitarist who remains nameless in the credits to bad I would really like to hear some of his own composistions. 
I expect you're right. There's a lot of talent out there tucked away in studios and bar-rooms.

I did find some really good slide pickers on you tube in my search so at least I can steal some licks 
Kris Kristofferson wrote a song titled "Let's all get together and steal each others songs" to describe what happened when he and a bunch of the other Country guys did. Willy playing Johnny songs, Johnny playing Waylon songs, Waylon playing Willy songs, and everybody playing Kris songs.

Hi russell,did you check here at chordie under the misc tv and movies areas,it has some current show songs,just a thought.
