Just got an Acoustic Guitar for Christmas. Can anyone donate a case to me? I'll pay for S/H.
I'm a struggling student at Seminary college and want to keep my new guitar safe from the weather when I carry it with me.

Dear ms. Carla,
Welcome to chordie. May I advise you that a proper fit is very important for a guitar case. Guitars come in many sizes and shapes. I learned this the hard way and wound up buying two cases sad. I heard my son was intending to by me a case for my Yamaha dreadnought for my birthday. I had my wife tell him to take my guitar along when he went case shopping. He did and I now have a fantastic new black fabric, padded case that fits my guitar perfectly.

Carla,
I recommend using Craig's List to locate a case. It is usually the low-cost alternative. Shipping costs for a case may be more than a used case.
