A song that's probably NOT about women... "Don't let the sun go down on me" ... Elton John and George Michael (who I adore both... I think they're excellent singers)... both gay.  I've got to believe if you put two gay men together for a duet, they aren't singing about a woman.  big_smile

I don't know Which Way You Going Billy.

Hey Jude is about a girl.  It's TO a guy, but it's about a failing marriage from a dad about the marriage failing with his wife. 

I don't know Big Iron.

Big Bad John had Mom tattooed on his arm.  Probably.

His heroes have always been cowboys because cowboys get all the skinny big-haired chicks in the tight jeans. 

He's So Fine is about a woman's feelings about a guy.  So it's still about a woman. 

To Sir With Love is the same. 

I'm sure that I can twist more songs' lyrics around...

Most of the songs I hear from gay songwriters could be for a woman... or a man.  I agree crevs... I just had to try to find the loophole.

Songs that were not directly written about a woman or in-directly written about woman,is still for a woman, I  assure you it was written to try to impress a woman, so therefore it's always about the woman.

Hi phil, I think there are too many to list and to think of. give us a hard song catagory like cars. (hot rod lincoln), or( horses,beer for my horse). Zurf if you read this you are going too have to face that B and F chord someday!!

I face the F.  The F and I aren't quite friends but we aren't quite strangers either.  We're friendly acquaintances, I'd say.  A bit awkward at first, but once we warm up to one another things go a bit more smoothly.
