Topic: Looking for easy beginer songs

I just recieved an electric guitar for christmas and I dont know how to play. I am familiar with the basic chords, I am just looking for some simple music that I may be somewhat familiar with. If you think you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it .  Thank You

Start with telling us who do you like to listen to.  The members here will have lots of suggestions.  Also if you're just starting out, watch Justinguitar on Youtube and you'll learn a lot of stuff.  Welcome to Chordie and good luck.

Thanks for that... I like to listen to nickelback, savingable, kid rock, seether, ect..... pretty much anything along thoes lines
