Topic: chords for Time In A Bottle that are easier!!!

I learned Time In a Bottle by Jim Croce years ago but it wasn't in Dm it was in Em and I can't find my lyric sheet with the chords on it.  Now it's years later and I'm trying to teach it to my son but I'm VERY out of practice and I can't find any chording for this song in Em rather than Dm.  I'm ok picking out the verses but lost when I get to the chorus when it goes into the majors.  I remember it going from Em to  a straight E chord when it gets to the chorus but can't 'find' the rest of the chords and I'm too out of practice to discover them on my own.
Does anyone have this chording for Time In a Bottle?  I'd be eternally grateful.

You  can find this right here on Chordie. Once you open the song look at the right hand side of the page, there you'll see a section that says "Transpose Chords" click on +2 semi-tones that will transpose the chords to the key of Em. This is a great song by an artist whose life ended too early.  Enjoy

I have played this song a few times I suggest finding some easy chords that you are satisfied with because playing it like Jim Croce requires a lot of descending lines and fills I can play them but I have been playing for quiet a few years and dont have a problem with it for someone with less experience then I the easiest arrangement that you feel comfortable with would be the way to go keep in mind there was a fine lead player that accompanied him who also perished along with Jim in the plane crash that played a lot of the fills it was a tragic loss to the music world but its nice to know his music lives on smile

Remember, Croce was playing pretty much straight rhythm chords on these cuts.  It was his sideman, Maury Muehleisen, who was doing all the cool licks.

I saw a few vids on youtube where he was playing several licks along with his sideman I think Jim Croce was more then qualified to handle the fills himself but the addition of Maury helped in other ways as he also sang harmony smile
