Topic: "Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy" A Hero Passes

On Nov 06/09 Jesse Davidson passed away. He was from my home town of London Ontario. In 1995 his dad, at the age of 49, pushed Jesse across Ontario in a wheelchair, 3,339 kilometers, to raise funds for this disease. They raised 1.5 million dollars. In 1998 his dad John walked across Canada for the same cause and raised 2 million dollars. They have both made a huge impact in the local area when it comes to raising funds but more important was the idea to never give up on your dreams no what what the obstacle. He lived to 29, 10 years passed his life expectancy.

God Bless You Jesse

Rest In Peace

Hi Kap,

For someone to have such heart as that shows why there are still good people on this earth, to put theirselves out there that way, to have raised so much money for such a good cause, makes us all think what we should be doing with our healthy bodies.
