Topic: Acoustic Solos

These are two purely acoustic songs I've written, one a few months ago, and one last week.
I'm a fifteen year old acoustic/classical player, and this is very different then what I'm used to doing. Opinions?

Hunting Dog- http://www.mediafire.com/?wmjnxjnttyv

Let me know if this works, I've never hosted files with Mediafire before.

Cheers!

Re: Acoustic Solos

Linus welcome to Chordie can you get a myspace or soundclick account as a band or artist? because I have a mediafire account and your songs require downloading the files it would be easier to provide a link for people to listen without having to download. smile

Re: Acoustic Solos

oooooooohhhh. I didn't realize that, like I said I'm new. I also just figured out I saved them as Audacity files, and not WAV, so if they did bother they wouldn't be able to hear em. LOL.

I'll look at soundclick!

Re: Acoustic Solos

if you use audacity convert them to mp3's for faster upload to soundclick if you get an account there a WAV file consumes a lot of megabytes and takes forever to upload or download and at soundclick folks can listen without having to download smile

Re: Acoustic Solos

I set up a Soundclick account but I can't figure out how to post songs... any help? I'm not a computer wiz...

Re: Acoustic Solos

oh and I'd do mp3 but it needs a converter that I tried to get and didn't work. WAV works though.... I'll take the time.

Re: Acoustic Solos

Linus hang on I think the converter can be downloaded as part of the audacity program let me check mine and see you shoudn't have to upload a wav file there are several members who have soundclick accounts one is Arkady another is Phill Williams and there more knowledgable on this but I will get back to you smile

Re: Acoustic Solos

Hi Linusguitar
If you drag and drop or open the wave file into Audacity you can edit if you want and then save "Export" the file as a MP3 file to upload to soundclick'

1. https://www.soundclick.com/community/me … logoutdone
and sign in.
2.Then click "edit" My bands/artist account(s)
On the page go to  "Songs"
Click on the "add new songs"
and the follow the directions given on the proceeding pages.
hope this helps
