Topic: Help with tuning please.

I was attempting to find the tuning for the following cover

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM96O4lNp8w

however in the comments all i can find was this. C+C (with open E) + F. I have absolutely no idea how to translate that to basic per string tuning. Can someone please tell me the tuning it explains. And if you can please link me to a tutorial that may teach me to read this method.

I guess if it's gibberish to everyoen else if one of you guys may kind enough to figure out the tuning by ear for me i am still helpless at this myself.

EDIT1: I forgot to mention this is for a 6 string guitar

Re: Help with tuning please.

I believe the song is in standard tuning and what you found were the chords... It's played C and then C/E and then F  x2 And then Am C F x2  This may help http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/k/k … r6_crd.htm

It'll sound slightly off if you play it with open chords...  Barring them will give you the proper timbre

[b][color=#FF0000]If your brain is part of the process, you're missing it. You should play like a drowning man, struggling to reach shore. If you can trap that feeling, then you have something.

Re: Help with tuning please.

Yes it looks like standard tuning BUT it also sounds like he has tuned all strings down two half tones. The result is it plays in Bb rather than C.
