Well Done as always Sir!!! I really like that quacky strat sound!!! Best tone yet. Thanks for sharing
Awesome Russell!!! This kind of tune suits your voice and your style of playing to a T. And thanks for not using pre-recorded drums(haha), good job tappin' the drum sounds in on your own. Well done young fella!!!!

Guys it really made my day to hear your comments,Thanks Steve and Geo yea I like that sound a lot kinda muted harmonics some call it "chicken pickin" wilbaye I was having a great time anytime you play is great, Southpaw I really appreciate your opinion and yes I tapped the pads so it would sound more human I have used pre-recorded drums but dont favor them for the same reasons as you I would rather play with a human or alien if he can keep the beat steady thanks again all
Hi russell, What a great song loved how it all flows along, good lyrics and sound,I can still hear it in my head as I write this.
I'll let you into a secret. I've used computer generated drums
Thanks for sharing
Trevor
Thanks Trevor I still hear it in mine I think most songs you write take a while to stay at the forefront of your thoughts kinda like a big meal it takes time to digest I dont see nothing wrong with useing artificial percussion the songs gotta have a beat and I dont have the room for a drum kit in my studio apartment so I use an Alesis drum machine and tap the pads manually
hi russ,
i love this....as someone says above, it suits your voice. kinda reminds me of the eagles sound and feel, so it's a guaranteed winner for me.
talk soon buddy?

Phill glad ya liked it maybe I found my niche seems natural to do a song like this I think if it comes close to sounding like the Eagles that's a real compliment, been a while since we chatted I never know when your online drop me an email its 10:06 in the morning now so you can figure the time zone difference I usually am on my puter around this time would love to BS with ya thanks again my Welsh friend

Hi Russ
This would be a drinking song then
most excellent. The strat's stands loud and proud and offsets the vocals to tee...
Well done.
ark
Hey Russell, Cool song man! Lovin the guitar licks!
I'm checking out your other songs now
-Mario
Great Work on this Russ
I get an early "The Band" feel from this and you know that's a good thing.
Corn Squeezins... I like the title, the story, the licks and the mix.
Kudos Russ on another well done tune.
KAP

Another nice one Russell.... put it on your CD list!
Brought back memories of my college loggin summers. There is a small community a bit South of me here that had a General Store where we'd stop on the way home after a day in the woods. Buy some ice and munchies and if you were to stroll out back to the pump-house you'd find some shelves with gallon jugs of clear liquid.... leave a $20 in the jar and haul one home with ya (bring back the empties please). No smoking in the car on the way though! Mighty fine Shine as I recall.... aged in plywood for a real long time.... could run a chainsaw on it I swear, and responsible for more than one "lost weekend".
Thanks and Take Care;
Doug
Doug so you imbibed in shine eh? I never had any myself (yea sure) sounds like a school activity frequented by many, now a days the younger folks are into other inhancements, oh well the world is changing all the time appreciate your comments
