Topic: Big Brother Paranoia???
This past weekend a small group of people held a "Moon the Balloon" event in Sarnia Ontario Canada. Sarnia borders the USA separated by the St Clair River.
A USA company called the Sierra Nevada Corporation has developed a Balloon used for "Homeland Security" that they are testing in the city of Port Huron (across the river from Sarnia).
This balloon can read the name of a ship from 14 km (9 miles). Apparently it has been used to track individuals (or to watch) in Canada.
If you lived in an apartment building two miles from where the balloon is flying (at 1000 ft)would you feel more secure, or would you feel the need to pull your blinds.
They say it is just a test and it will not be there in the future.
Why do they need to test it there?
Can they not test it in an unpopulated desert?
In today,s world security is imperative.
I'm kinda sitting on the fence here, I can see both sides of the issue.
Careful how you answer...Big Brother might be watching/listening/reading.
