Topic: D addaro exp strings

what does everyone think of them

Re: D addaro exp strings

Hi jeremy, I have EXP's on a Ibanez Sage, sound good, hold tune ok, but are hard in the finger tips, they are rough compared to Elixers, which I normally use

Have the phosphor bronze lights, and while they play great and sound good, they seem to have lost nearly all brightness that new strings have.

Re: D addaro exp strings

I have been using the Elixir strings but find once they are gone they are gone, I find they last me about 2 months at the most then I need to replace them. I was looking at a hand made string by Wyre and I am about to try them this week.

Re: D addaro exp strings

I've tried the EXPs once, and I really liked them but I also have been using Elixirs recently.

Hey Johnemac01, let us know how those Wyres strings work! I've heard about them and
would be curious to see what you think about them.
