Topic: Took a stab at the Zombie classic: Time Of The Season

Sometimes a song that I don't know how to play gets in my head and stays there. Maybe it just wants to be learned, I don't know why this happens. So I looked up the chords and took a run at it, gave it a rest, slept on it and then recorded it. This video is my second take at learning to play the song. So it is rough and raw. Done very quickly.

I used the recording from the first take to add an additional vocal to the chorus. With practice it can be beter.

Re: Took a stab at the Zombie classic: Time Of The Season

This is my first post and I wanted to use it to say....great job!  I love that song.  I play on weekends with some older folks that play the classic country music.  Im trying to learn and have discovered I dont like the way my strumming sounds on my own.  So I have been practicing my strumming and I sure feel hopeful after watching you, so again, great job!
Keep plugging away!

And thanks to the chordie gang, couldnt do it without you!
