Topic: The "you know" brother
Well, I couldn't believe my eyes, so many reactions. I am quit sure that it's more subconscious.
WHAT IS REALLY VERY IRRITATING IS (what I call) BREAKING THE LINGUISTIC RULES.
EXAMPLE
- you is always in my heart baby versus you are always in my mind.
ISN'T IT OFFENSIVE to call an Afro American....n***
But they use that word almost always.
It is fascinating to see how fast a language change. BELGIUM and THE NETHERLANDS:
- 30-40 years ago we could understand without a problem the way of speaking in The Netherlands.
- today: they have to use subtitles to understand them.
- identical words having a complete difference.
Well, that is for me a kind of passion: the origin and evoluation of a language.
A short story: on a trip from Chicago to Houston, by car and trying to follow route 66, it was for me quit difficult to understand the phenomenon North versus South. It was in MISSOURI and we stopped a lot at pawn shops. 10 miles more south the accent was complete different from the North accent and suddenly the South accent. AMAZING
- MY GUITAR PLAYS EVERY STYLE = BLUES, ROCK, METAL, so I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY IT.
