Topic: Beginner... I really enjoyed

I really enjoyed reading the thread by GuitarPix ( the one where we were all pitching in beginner songs)

I know there is a section on this in public books but do you think we could keep a thread like this going? With such a wide variety of minds and music on here it was great to see such a mix in one place. I'm sure I am not the only one who discovered long forgotten songs through this.

Also we can discuss the songs in the forum which is so helpfull and totally gets me motivated. It's only been about a week for me in these forums and I'm addicted!!!!!

hi tine welcome to chordie i joined 1yr11mths ago and just read through the different sections and this inspired me to write songs,i had wrote two before joining then i wrote 11 in two days,i just could'nt stop,now i write an average of 3 a week ,i've written 185 to the present and got thirteen recordings at the moment,if i need any help i just ask,its brilliant,and at 55 your never too old to learn,have fun....stay cool
