Topic: classical guitar

found excellent site few days ago -learnclassicalguitar.com- well worth checking out, has beginner stuff and some lovely not too difficult stuff to play as well. Learning country dance by Ferinando carulli at the min, beautiful song to play and fairly easy which is even more amazing.Carulli was /is famous composer not ony for great material but also because unlike some of his contempories his work was very playable for the not so gifted . Never in a million years did i think that classical music would interest me but last few days i just cant get enough of it- was stuck in d du udu rut so what a welcome break this site is . any one know it? thought id spread the word any way and folks its completely free......option to donate if you want , hav nt done that yet but will certainly be sending on something

Re: classical guitar

Thanks for the link Alanmac872.

Having learned classical guitar first, albeit way too many years ago.... it is sometimes nice to get back to "your roots" now and then.
Happy you have found another avenue of exploration musically.  Everything "crosses over" you know and sometimes a classical run in the middle of a hard rock riff is surprisingly fitting!
