Topic: Missing lyrics.

Why is it that some folks can listen to a song over and over, and then list the chords and lyrics on chordie, and still leave out part of the lyrics? I recently looked up the chords for Powderfinger, by Neil Young, and  found that on 1 version, someone had left out of the third verse, Daddy's rifle in my hands felt reassurin'.  If you went with that version, you'd be playing the song wrong.  Not only would you disgrace yourself, you'd be disgracing MR Young also! Just a thought.

hi dhani,

yes this does happen but it is not chordie's fault.

People do not post songs onto chordie. Chordie works as a search engine and gets the songs from other sites.
If you read frequently asked questions in resources it explains a lot.
