Ain't no tree hugger,
Don't get me wrong.
I like to see them
big and strong.

Cherry, alder, oak, and spruce,
I think they're here, to put to use.
Walnut, birch,mahogany, ash,
They make fine tables,
I like the cash.

Ain't no tree hugger.
I like the shade.
Sittin' in my back yard
on this chair I made!

Global warming, electric cars,
Save the whales, probes on Mars.
Owls protected, children starve;
Loggers can't work, I like to carve!

Ain't no tree hugger,
As you can see.
So, lets cut down a big one,
for the economy!
