Great song - like your style! Couldn't quite make out all the words though . . . You've got ambition and talent - I look forward to hearing more of your compostions.
What recording/editing software do you use? I have an iMac and am thinking of getting Garageband so that I can be more self-sufficient in recording my stuff. Any advice you can provide would be welcome. I have alot to learn . . .
I am very poor so I use a free program called Audacity. Just google that. I have it on my laptop and play into the little built in mic on the computer. The software is very basic so it is very easy to edit, copy/paste, and so on. I have a windows computer (can't afford a good enough mac) but I believe there is a mac version of audacity. Make sure to fool around with the mic levels so you have as little back ground noise and buzz as possible. I suppose this is obvious but I feel I might as well mention it. If you are overdubbing you should use headphones so that the first track does not come out of the speakers and go back into the mic. Of course having the sound go back in creates a cool reverb effect (tiny delay). There are many add ons which are also free.
I have been writing and recording music for about 2 years. I have many compositions. I just haven't had the time to upload any to the net.
