Guitar chord forum - chordie → About Chordie → writing in chrdpro
Hi,
I want to post some songs, I have the lyrics but want to add the chords, I was wondering if anyone knew how to write them in the chordpro format. Do I need a piece of software to do this, if so any reccommendations? If anyone has any knowledge on this subject could you post a reply?

Hi dlance and welcome to Chordie,
If the songs are your own compositions you can post them in the Songwriting section and James's 'Sticky' titled 'How To Post Original Song to Songwiting Forum' at the start of that section explains how to use Chorpro on Chordie.
If however the songs are not yours they will be covered by copyright and you cannot post them on Chordie for legal reasons. Pleae read my 'Sticky' titled 'Posting of Songs' at the start of this section.
