There was a period where bands adored animal names.
THE MOTHER OF ALL are (who else) THE ANIMALS.
Common, give me some names
- The Beetles, simple but great to change 1 letter into a, referring to BEAT.
- The YARDBIRDS
- THE EAGLES
- WHITESNAKE
- THE TURTLES
- THE CATS (dutch band)
- T-REX
- THE MONKEES
- ARCTIC MONKEYS
- COUNTING CROWS (can they count to 10?)
- THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY
- LIEUTENANT PIGEON
AND A LOT MORE FOR YOU TO WRITE HERE.

hows about Alabama, The Kentucky Headhunters, The Georgia Sattelites, and That Lil' Ol' Band from Texas ought to get something like an honorable mention.
Not sure if Howlin' Wolf counts as a BAND name, but its after an animal.

By the way WHAT happened to the MONKEES? I still remember me that I saw them on TV long ago.
