I have a Fishman Neo-Buster I put on my 8o's Yamaha and get great sound from it. The problem I have is tripping over the cord hanging down in the front. The cord could also be a little longer.

I considered the AEL line awhile back. My first guitar was an Ibanez and it was just hard to play even after being set up correctly.

Happy NGD!!!!

I was first looking at the AEF37 because it has such a sweet finish. Went with the AEL because I liked the deeper rich tone and it plays like there are no strings.

When shopping last week for a new amp I could not help but to strum a few guitars. Kind of fell in love with a Ibanez AEL30 for the price. After thinking about it for a week I called my sales rep and asked what he could do for me. Well, went back and this was the the outcome.

Wife wanted me to go shopping yesterday, said I would if we could stop in at GC. Well did not walk out empty handed.

This is what came home with us.

What a great way to celebrate and enjoy your birthday. Would love to see pictures of your students with their new guitars.

Nice Amy.

Such a sweet voice.

Amy's chart is handy, no thinking involved.

Now that looks like one great time. Thanks for sharing.

Love the green color and the contrast of the natural wood. Great job, well done.

Just keep it up. You sound as though you are having a good time and that's what is important. I myself started about 8 months ago at 63 and enjoy the hell out of it. Will never call myself a musician but strumming and singing (no matter how bad) can be most satisfying. If you haven't already you might check out Justinguitar.com and pick up some help.

Thanks Jim, enjoyed it very much.

Wish you well with the shoulder. After having mine done it took almost a year to get back to normal.

Thanks for the comments, I'll keep working and hopefully improve.

Dino48, yes it is a Yamaha, Model FG-375-S. I bought it in 85 and it spent the last 25 years in the basement.

Tried to make my first video with limited success. Would like to lay blame on the fact that I have no recording equipment but have to admit it is my singing and playing.

With the -35 wind chill it took 4 trips inside to warm and change gloves to get 18" of snow off the drive. Hoping lake effect don't kick in.

Not getting old at all. Keep sharing Jim.

Oh, to be 55 again. Problem is at my age I do fart alot.

Only play for myself and can't remember a song I played 5 min ago. When in school and played in a band had no problems.
