Thanks so much Peatle Jville, My friend Liz, writes some amazing lyrics, i have the easy part of putting music to them and performing them.:)
There is so much talent on here, from all of you, maybe we should all put our efforts together and record one massive song ? Lol
Thanks again

Thank you so much TIGLJK (Jim) it means a lot to me.
The song is for everyone who is going through some sort of fight in there lives, like yours, weather it's an illness, depression or just a rough time.
I lost my job through my cancer (side affects) and am struggling to find employment, but trying hard . Ever optimistic
Great lyrics in your song also, very emotive. And a great performance of it by Phil.

Hi All,
Long time since I have been here........... anyways, I have a new "Original" song, i would love you all to hear and give feedback on please
A little story about how this song came about. A couple of years ago two friends of mine were diagnosed with cancer, both fighting it every which way they can, very positive guy's. Then i was diagnosed with prostate Cancer, not too bad, caught early etc. so this got me thinking .....
One of my friends with the cancer Chris, his wife Liz, is brilliant with lyrics, so i asked her if she could write something, which she did, amazingly well considering what they are going through.
I arranged the lyrics, put guitar to it and this is what i came up with.

Hope it works and look forward to your comments

Thanks Dino
This song is difficult to play properly on the 12 string, 6 string is better as you can pick out individual strings easier.
Still it works to a degree

Re: Update on Grah1 (52 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
Great News folks
Graham is back at home, so it won't be long before he is back posting on Chordie
I know he will hate me saying this, but both Pam & Graham are two of the kindest, big hearted, willing to help anybody people you would want to meet, so it is so nice that so many of you have taken the time to express good wishes and thoughts, even none of you have met them. I know it will mean so much to both of them. They have had it quite hard just recently, life seems to have knocked them down, however it has not stopped them going out of there way to help and support others.
Thank you one and all

Hi Guys,
Just thought you all might like to know that Grah1 (A regular contributor to this site) Is very Ill in Hospital after an emergency operation last Tuesday 7th April.
I know many of you regard Graham as a friend even though none have actually met him, and appreciate many of the songs he has written and posted.
I for one do know him personally and have played gigs with him many times.
Wishing him a very speedy recovery.

Hi Guys,
This is a cover of a Scissor Sisters Song - Mary
Recorded direct from my TC Helicon Voicelive Play GTX into my computer (DAW software is Reaper) @ BensonP maybe you can use your TC Helicon Acoustic the same way, using the USB cable. I changed the sound in Reaper to emulate a Tweed Deluxe Amp.
What you guys think ?
