Gidday...this is an easy song to play.....but one of the chords does not sound right
it starts.......G#(4th FRET)...Cm(3rd fret)...A#m(1st fret).....D#(3RD FRET)..........
No matter how many times I play that D#(3rd fret) it just does not sound right........simply,any suggestions...chord variations ,that would work......maybe its just me...the other chords sound fine,......................kia kaha ..thanks in advance

Gidday...thanks for the replys...and beamer,appreciate the tips...the music,yup thats what I play anyway....there are others,but its just a matter of trial and error I reckon.....yeah mate,the bar chords require quite a bit more pressure,....the tuning part is tricky....started out with a clip on SNARK....seems to work just fine,unless my hearing is shot!!!,...correct me if Im wrong,but dont u tune both strings to the same pitch...ie 440.(basic)..???....I did that and the chords sound just fine.....have a capo,but gave it away after hearing how I play.....more practice and will retry.....strings...silk and steel,can you elaborate why.......the other thing,trying to play chords past the 7th fret is a cluster,...anyway,its all fun and appreciate the incoming posts....kia kaha

Gidday...had this Guitar given to me,in excellent condition,part of an estate deal(no strings)...re-strung it ........what a beautiful gat.....don't have any experience on a 12 string.Have been playing it for the last month,sounds great...with certain songs...some,not so good.
Like they say,practice is everything.and Ive been pounding it for sure....but hard to get a clean sound,get a lot vibration off the strings(bar chords being the worst),and Im sure this just lack of time with it......
Anybody with experience with a 12 string please chip in and offer your thoughts,advice,tips.......Im all ears...........kia kaha

Baldguitar dude......yeah mate,thats what Ilm looking for...sounds sweet-as,very nice indeed mate........the 5th and 7th fret chords easy for sure....the first part,was a little tough to see how that plays...........base line walking,,AEG,........Need to play with that.........thanks for all the time and advice

working with Am Em G...Em7..Dm7...basic chords.........have seen the version using Bar chords on 5th/7th frets..........Chord names allude me......the use of G in the basic version doesnt even sound right/....

ok phil...since no silly questions asked.....looking at the chord chart..................then you would play 2nd string,1st fret....and the 4th and 5th strings 4th fret...no bar.....am I understanding that correctly........could you possibly post a Tab........for us bush-beat blokes,it makes it much easier

Interesting reading for sure.......I do not consider myself,in the upper crust of Gat players at all,just yr average bush-beat #,but I have found that learning a song and its chords on the acoustic,makes for a better/easier transition to the electric.I find some songs sound better on the acoustic hooked up to my amp,vice versa on the electric.......................one thing is constant ....my room-mates reckon I sound bad no matter what I,m playing

Phil/Jerome..............well,took a crack at both of your suggestions and hearing better results already...the key seems to be turning all of the Guitar settings to their lowest...Would a agree that this is not the best Amp,but the price was right,.......before I get into anything a little more expensive......certainly appreciate the input given......always takes a little "direction" to figure some of these things out

yeah mate...I figured out the feedback issue...thats not much of a worry.....its trying to get that guitar sound with out an amp......and the same sound with the amp.....maybe thats just the way it is??
I think most of my issues are with the....Smart Control FX settings,and the TAP setting

Have the above Amp,hooked up to my Acoustic Guitar,s,But having a hard time trying to get a clean Guitar sound out of it(Brand New).Just cant to quite get the right settings.......any tips on the set up of this Amp much appreciated...havent used Amps really so its just a beginner thing I reckon.Trying to correlate the guitar setting with the settings on the amp....something always sounds out of whack.......any and all comments appreciated ...kia kaha

Gidday....just purchased this electric/acoustic.....havent really played it yet....I,m an average "gat" player...mostly rythem,a little picking...Got into a discussion with a mate of mine about the type of strings I should put on it(it came with strings).....he suggested electric guitar strings......really dont know much about the differences.....not sure I really need to change them at all....would be interested in some info and insight into electric strings v/s acoustic electric.........kia kaha....rakuraku
