On my acoustic, I use Ernie Ball Earthwood lights (11s)...
I also use these and really like them. They were recommended to me by the local guitar store.

So I looked up this chord, and there were 25 variations! Which version of this chord do you do auxi?
A/C# was the one I was struggling with in another thread. I was trying to do a bass walkup in A:
A
A/B
A/C#
to resolve back to a D.Barre the D, G and B strings with your index on fret 2, and then hit the A string on fret 4 with your ring or pinky. Ideally it's x42220, but most people end up muting the high e. Auxi replied in that thread and I think that's how she said she played it.
Yes, that is how I play it. And yes, I did post on that thread.

Re: Muted up strum (13 replies, posted in Acoustic)
Good question. Wish I had an answer. Whenever I palm mute my strings it's in a quick down stroke kinda way. I read on some other sites how to pm an upstroke, but they really didn't have any magically helpful advice. Except for what you already know and have already heard I'm sure: PRACTICE.

Sorry my posts are all so back to back...
Think I have the same song as Manicbassman. Assuming that is the right song, you should play it in 4/4 I think. Sounds like a tough verse to play, but the chorus should be simple. Have fun!

I'm not sure of the song you're wanting, but I found this link.

If this is the right song, it looks like it's played in 4/4. Good luck!
