gotta choose one of three what goes, the Booze, the Guitar or Her, she picks up my beloved Fender Strat like a baseball bat look'n at me serious like i'm a baseball, she say to me "I love you, but for your health 'n safety you better pick the booze" well fellow chordians, as woeful as this
may sound, I am a happily married (same woman) guitar play'n man, that true story was fifteen years ago, geez I miss me booze all the coke I drink just doesn't cut it, ahhwell whatever instrument it is, keep on play'n.(drunk, halfcut or sober)

"one day"...... I shoulda had all sons ..... tuff as leather me, eat nails pass bricks (ouch) fight lions 'n tigers while play'n the guitar with one hand
pik'n with me teeth, but this daughter mine is just like her mother, she smiles at me with all the love in the world an I melt like jelly, some day I may have my "one day" cos' it can be embarrassing being a jellyman, lolololol ..... hugs n kisses to you all.... keep on play'n.

This is rhythmNpik here, i'm new to the house, anyway i've got an answer but it's not the only answer, here we go .....
As i know it, the chord is C with a G base, some purest's won't play the optional G base to a C chord unless it's
Written in the score and they would dud out the the E string, i've always used the optional G base note playing the C chord cos'
I'm not a purest, i just like the tone of it and it doesn't take away from any song i know of, anyway best of luck in all you do.

a purest is not a purest unless the purest is a purest ...... lolololol '''''' who said that ???? not me !!!! then who ????? i dunno !!!!

Melody, harmony, lyrics, rhythm and hook balanced with someone who can sing in tune and stay in tune .
Thats Just my opinion .... heh heh heh .... oh! by the way, backed up with good muso's wouldn't hurt either .... lololololol
What do you reckon ?

sriously guys n gals when we look at how Chet Atkins and Glen Campbell, played melody, lead and base at the same time .... WoW....
that is serious talent.

wow all those guitarist are true guns with the gat , one of my personal favourites is the late Roy Buchannen ,
i wouldn't be so bold to say he was the best , but i will say he was a true gun and more than capable
to jam with them all , the late Jimmy Hendrix , gave Roy a huge mention in an after concert interview .
Another favourite of mine is Brian Setzer , need i say more .

"The BEST" ! ? ...... well thats easy to answer ..... I am ..... aren't YOU ? ..... LOLOLOLOL

kiaora, to you all, Ginger Baker did it for me,when 'the Baker' drummed (solo) he ruled the rockin' world,
he was also great at drummin to jazz and any other rhythmic genres, didn't matter to him He jus' Ruled.
