I have been playing on and off for 15 years, with 1 year of classes in Jr High. Point I've taken this long to get the notes to sing out, on time and on purpose... thought this would be great but now everything i play sounds all to similar, I'm experimenting with different cord shapes on the neck ( all these years I've only practised/was aware of open chords) and this helps a little, but even though the music is clear it seems to be...bland. Any suggestions?
