I have started playing acoustic guitar a few months ago and have picked up major and minor chords and now having a go at barre chords, my problem is I tend to try playing all types of songs and at times struggle, should I stick to just a few songs until I feel I have mastered them any advice would be helpful.

Anyone have a Gibson Songmaker DSR Acoustic, interested in any review or thoughts on this guitar, I have heard they are good and have the chance of buying one, any thoughts please.
