Thanks for your help.

I did find that this guitar is a 1969 model and it's listed in "The Official Vintage Guitar Price Guide" with a price between $1,925 to $2,400 in excellent condition. Unfortunately I don't know how relaistic these prices are.

The Guitar is in excellent condition, so I'll just make an offer based on everything I found so far and what I'm willing to pay.

Any comments on what I should look for (problems ..etc) before purchasing.

Hi

I'm new to this forum and have been playing guitar for less then a year. A friend of mine is selling a Martin 12 string guitar that I'm considering purchasing. I'd want to give him a fair price for it. I would appriciate it if someone can give me an approximate price range. I know this is very difficult because it depends on so many factors, but any help is greatly appriciated.

It's in excellent condition and information found on the guitar is as follows:

Martin D12-20 serial number 251673
