I'm relatively new at the guitar and I live in Tampa. I'm just looking for people in the area to jam with and maybe learn something from.

In sarasota bro. I play lots of heavy metal guitar and soft rock. I can play a lot of metallica, some megadeth, and a lot of other songs.  I am a good teacher I am quite patient.

Help me... sad

i'm in band at last (with a bunch of geeks but a band's a band) and we can't think of a good name.

we've tried to name it before, and here's how: we got a cookery book, and picked any random word from it. the word happened to be "bitesized", which i thought was quite good, but we got made fun of pretty quickly, so i guess i was wrong.

how did you go about naming your band?

Well we took a pen and paper and just wrote 100 names that just sounded KicK AsS and we chose the penultimate end. You could call yourselves something like.... bleeding geeks or something.

Not in pensacola... But im in palmetto and i live in sarasota so kinda close...

Metallica was an awesome band right up until they released the Black Album, which was a complete letdown, particularly after Justice for All.  Master of Puppets is still one of the top five albums ever in my book.

They haven't done much since Cliff Burton's death.

Well I think if you listen to black album and then you listen to pantera you would see that pantera was a big influence on metallica during that period of time. as far as now... I hated st. anger and if you listen to death magnetic more than three times it'll grow on you except the unforgiven three, cuz they shouldn't havent even made a two and the piano drags on waay too long. Cliff Burton was the best no doubt there.

Well we are a sarasota band in need of a bassist if you want to contact me here's my e mail: mmars97@gmail.com
Current positions:
Morgan : rythm guitar
Chris :lead guitar
Ben:Drummer
We also need a singer if anyone is interested.
