I've been doing a bit of swatting on Music Theory, but it seem's bits here and bob's there, and it dosen't really connect....

I know Major Scales go TTSTTTS
So for example in G, its

G F A A# C E F# G (Is that correct?)

So if a song is in the KEY of G, would that mean the chords would be based around the same?

I hope that question makes sense!

I don't know why, but I would be afraid to play it haha!

I always end up practising on my really cheap "first" guitar in case I break my expensive one.

Onto the B, I have to say that out of the lot, this one is actually the clearest, Somehow I have rather bendy fingers, and lifting as not to mute the top string comes with no problems!

Morning chaps.

I've been playinhg about nine month's or so, self taught.

I've got strumming and open chords sorted (mostly) and I'm a big fan of picking.

The last few weeks / month I've started on Barre Chords. I've got the shapes sorted well for the F's etc and the Bm etc, and I'm aware of the changes down the neck (from learning power chords).

The only problem I encounter is I get a bit of buzzing. Is this down to the lack of strength in my barreing finger? It's not really painful anymore.

Is it simply a case of practice the barre and put up with the buzzing a bit until my finger "pops" and It's strong enough?

Or could it be something more sinister?

I play it as a simple 1 2 3 4&. Sound's okey. Add's a bit of drama if you know what I mean.

It's a nice song, I assume you have the Am, C and D pick pick strum bit sorted?
