thankyou very much my friend, this could be just what I'm looking for, shame I had already written my versions of many many songs in the old way ie
F Bb
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
The only way you seem to write on this prog is
[F] Amazing grace how [Bb] sweet the sound
Still I don't suppose its too big a price to pay
Once again a big thanks

Topic: Obtaining Songs from other sites (2 replies, posted in About Chordie)
I have "posted" my versions of a fews songs on Ultimate Guitar.com and wonder how often Chordie updates from these various sites.
Chordie is a brilliant site allowing us to chose instrument and key. Sure wish I knew how you guts did this, I would love to know the formulars and program you use, is it for sale.
Brilliant if you are wanting to transpose a song quickly just to try it out.

Re: Ukulele players out there? (115 replies, posted in Other string instruments)
Hi all, I started playing the uke about 12 months ago after seeing Joe Brown playing on the George Harrison Tribute concert, singing "I'll See You In My Dreams"
I bought myself a Mahalo Tenor as the slightly larger size makes it easier with my fingers. I have added to my collection since, buying 2 differnet Kala's both Tenors, they cost between £80 and £150, but both sound brilliant. I also bought an 80 year old Avalon Banjo Ukulele (the type George Formby plays), but still love playing my Kala's.
If anyone wants the chords for I'll See You In My Dreams, send me an e mail and I will gladly send you them, complete with all the words.
This is the link to Joe Brown on Youtube, http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1Mu8D69ux … re=related
I also play guitar and keyboard, but have to admit not as much as I used to since I started playing the uke
