OK, this has probably been answered somewhere before but what the heck! I can't find an answer! 
Although I've been playing the guitar now for well over 30 years, I still consider myself as only just above average. It would help if I could find somewhere I could learn how to read Tabs that was explained in plain English, (I still work in feet and inches to give you some idea!):/
I love the music of Ralph Mctell, Lindisfarne, Barclay James Harvest and Jeff Lynne but struggle when I can only find tabs that I can't read. (Try to picture a simple living Yorkshireman, who's going on 50 trying to understand algebra or calculus, You'll get the idea !) 
Any suggestions anyone? Taa!
