Hi there

I am a begginer, who wanted to learn how to play some basic tunes, so I bought this used guitar last summer. After using it for a bit, i cant go past fret #6. If I apply some bar chords there, I get metal sounding tune. If I even move past fret 6, I get the same annoying sound, with no change in tune.
It looks as if this problem is progressing down the guitar neck. A month ago, it was fret #8.
Any ideas how to fix this guitar?

Thank you kindly

Hi all players (guitar players that is)
Im absolutly new at learning guitar, and what I found very challenging playing different notes on different ferrets.
I cant seem to get my index finger to push on all strings on the ferrit to produce the required sound.
Take the F# for instance.
finger 1 pushes on all strings on the second ferrit, while the other fingers press on other strings.
Does anyone know a good techniqute to over come this problem?

Any response would be much appreciated.

Mike.

Hi everyone

I am an absolute beginner. Its always been my dream to learn how to play the guitar, so I finally started few days ago.
I am trying to figure out the tab sheet and what all the symbols on it stand for but got no clue. An example of this is the following link:

Can anyone, please, explain to me what all the numbers 0-2-3 0-2-4 stand for, and the * are?
I mean it looks to me like the neck of the guitar, but I got no clue

Thank you kindly
