I can read music (regular and tab), and I'm proud of it. Seeing that I also play piano and sing, it helps when I can't figure something out (which actually is quite rare, because I can play and sing by ear). So I think it's pretty important, and I relish having the ability.

Nice job. When I first saw it and tried it out, I thought "Don't You Remember" would be a slower piece. Now, however, I think it fits really well with the upbeat tempo you chose. Wonderful song!

Thanks dino for your help, I appreciate it. Yes, I do love cats, and I love a particular cat by the name of Zoey, hence the name. Thanks again!

I'm looking for a guitar stand, obviously...not sure if this matters, but mine is a 3/4 Hondo acoustic. Is there somewhere reliable online that sells guitar accessories, or is there a certain store maybe? I'm also looking for a case to fit it, preferably a hard shell with a plush or plush-like lining. Thanks!

Hi Meggity,

I would suggest you start by playing it as a 4 string chord. Do not strum your two bass strings and play it as xx3211. Use your index finger to play a mini-barre on the first fret for the B and e strings, middle finger on the 2nd fret of the G string and your little finger on the third fret of the D string.

Later you can use your ring finger to play the third fret of the A string and make it a 5 string chord.

Finally from there you will need to stretch your index finger across all the strings on the first fret for the full barre chord.

I do the same thing, as my fingers are double-jointed and completely unable to do barre chords. I much prefer xx3211. It's so much better for me!
