Another one of mine.

Sounds best in a fast rythm.

If anyone can suggest another chord pattern for the chorus that would be sweet.

Hope you like

Love The Griever x

VERSE 1

Am                                       G
When the leaves turn brown i start to feel down,

   F                                E
I Know that winters on its way.

So I wrap up tight, and follow the lamp light,
Down the road where no one goes.

I gamble my last pound, find a penny on the ground,
I put it away for a rainy day.

CHORUS

Dm                                           C
At the bottom of the hill, you can feel so low,
G                                                Am
When your down in the valley it can feel so cold

Dm                                          C
At the bottom of the hill, you can feel so low,

G                                                           D
When your standing at the crossroads and don't know where to go

VERSE 2

When you've been for a drink, but she can smell the stink,
She knows you've been out on the piss.

Well there ain't no use, trying to think of an excuse.
You ain't gonna lie your way out of this one.

She's had enough, and now she's fucking off,
I don't think your gonna see the bird again.

CHORUS
(Last line of the chorus changes each time)

.....When there ain't no one to love you, and there ain't no one to hold.

VERSE 3

When the bills roll in, and the tax man's calling
You got nowhere to hide.

Your down on your knees, and begging o please,
Please don't take me to jail.

I've got nothing left, but i've got no regrets,
I'd do it all again if i could.

CHORUS

......When there ain't no rainbow, and there ain't no gold.

Verse 1
D
Close that door behind you,

C
take off your coat of sin,

G                                           D
Hang it on the wall next to the rules of the inn.

Rule number one is
grab yourself a drink
take the world off your shoulders let your shoulders sink

Warm your feet by the fire,
And leave your woes behind,
Cause alcohol and company in here is all you'll find

CHORUS
D               C   G       D
Down at the old boars head
We'll have no more regrets
And maybe you'll wana forget
When your in the old boars head

Verse 2

There's nothing i like better
Than a pub with a veiw
If you by one for me, then I'll by one for you

Nice to know theres a place
Where you can always go
A little place down the road, a home away from home

Friendly faces everywhere.
Smiles all around,
Best of all a pint of beer only costs a pound

Chorus

Verse 3

Tell me your troubles,
And i'll listen with open ears
I've been coming here for ten damn years

Nothing you can tell me
I ai'nt heard before
My old lady left with the guy next door

Try to drown your sorrows
Turn your frown up side down
We'll have one more here then we'll hit the town

Chorus
But we'll come back to the old boars head
We'll have no more regrets
And we'll learn to forget
When were in the old boars head

We'll be in the old boars head

I'll see you in the old boars head.....
