My acoustic is Arienette,
My electric doesnt have a definite name yet,
It's sometimes called Jetsabel, and sometimes Padraic.
And I named my dad's acoustics too...
The nylon string is Laura,
And the steel string is Laurent.

I got my first electric guitar today and have been attempting to play a few songs.. but I have no idea how to work the whammy bar and I need to for the one song I most want to play.. I thought I did know how to use it but it doesn't seem to make any difference when I do...
Can anyone help?

I have a nylon electro-acoustic
Steel strings and nylons have a slightly different sound
I find some things sound better on steel and some sound better on nylon
A lot of my guitar-playing friends will only play steel 'cause they don't like nylons
Some will only play nylon 'cause they don't like steel,
And some (Like me) will play both...
It's all a matter of taste really...

Another thing I hate:
When your listening to music and someone comes and turns it right down
Or at least just turns the bass right down (The bass is generally turned so high you can feel it)
