I have:
I real, just straight-ahead Sigma D-18 (nothing to really write home about, but it hasn't lost anything since I got it 25 years ago new... hasn't gained much either)
... and a Martin D-16H, that just pounds. I bought this new many years ago, and have had the nut and saddle replaced and use brass string pegs. Never much liked the tuners on it but am really spooked to replace those, the sound is just right for me.

(btw, Zign, Wayne Charvel lives up here in my neck of the woods, and still makes guitars. Look for "Wayne" guitars)

From the list... rock and pop (and was the blues in that list).

Now my real choices:
Bluegrass (pretty much all the sub-genres: traditional, jazz-grass, psycho-grass, new-grass, etc.), Cajun, Jazz(big band swing, fusion), folk-rock, indy-folk (both are represented real well by groups such as "Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem" and "The Bobs") and just love to listen to anyone who can REALLY pick a guitar (my favs: Doc Watson, Dan Crary, Eric Clapton, and my friend, Jerry Ashford.... almost in that order).

As if any of this matters to anyone but me. Thanks for letting me express it.
