I feel like its not being lazy but being smart... wise man once said "work smarter not harder" lol. I also feel like I am learning more and can make myself feel less frustrated by playing in open g. Try it and you may say man I should have tried this sooner. Keith Richards doesn't have a problem with it either...lol

well if you had a resonator guitar... the band could have kept going... that is what the resonator was built for back in the day.. when clubs didnt have power or it was a crowded club the resonator guitar could be heard. OK its not a marshall stack but its like... acoustic guitar for loud people try one in a shop somewhere and you will see for yourself

I recently bought a "chinese made" resonator guitar on ebay for $ 75.00 after doing a little research and setting it up as described at stewert macs website this may quickly become my favorite guitar. The fender electric and the gibson acoustic have been collecting dust in the corner now for about three weeks and they may stay there for awhile... gitaardocphil it is tuned to "open g" one finger barre chords and a bottle slide with the reverb coming from the body I sound like an delta blues player already

I prefer to play in open g or "spanish tuning" one finger barre chords so I dont have to throw all those gang signs and get cramps in my fingers trying to hit the chords just right as needed in standard tuning. I can sound like a milllion bucks and only have to use a finger and my bottle slide.
