Did anyone have a goal song? That is a song you couldn't play but wanted to and practiced untill you got it?
Mine was "Daughters" by John Mayor it took a while but I still remember the first time I played it start to finish with only a few screw ups what a good feeling.
So I just wanted to know what yours were and/or what they are now I havn't realy picked another yet

If you like the tone than it may be worth taking it to your local music shop and having there luther shave it down and set up your intonation.
If it's something you want to learn than I would suggest buying an old pice and practicing on it cause if you mess up it's not you go to guitar that needs fixing.
Keep us all posted on how it all turns out

All I can tell you is that from my experience with Guitars under 800$ is that some costing 250$ sound and play better than more expensive ones MSRP dosn't mean a thing if it feels like crap when you hold it or if it sounds thin.
My suggestion is to set a price range for yourself and play all the guitars in that range and decide what feels and sounds best to you.I would avoid the 3500$ Martins and such unless you decide you may buy one of those cause you will here and feel a difference with the real high end pices but I was in Music Stop the other day and one of the best sounding guitars I played was a 250$ Yamaha.
But I was looking in the up 600$ range.
Play em and the guitar will pick you almost as much as you pick It.
Good luck hopr this helps.
And one more thing even if you leave without one a hours in the music store is better than a few hours thinking about it

I find seagul guitars have wide necks on them and they are or can be cheep.
They sound real nice solid cedar tops back and sides I think I love there sound but I prefer a skinny neck.
I have a Takimine EG540C acc/elec and love it.
The Seaguls range from about 300-550 canadian and some come with real nice cases

Hey everyone I'm new to the site but think it rocks.
It seems to be much more than just tabs ect.
My girlfriend and I both play and the dedicated people on this site make it real nice for beginners like us.
So tks for all your time in tab/chords of songs and in the forums part of the site maybe we will all rock someday lol
