Once you get the chord progressions memorized, try just writing down the first line to each verse. Works well for me on long songs like: Like A Rolling Stone.

Mama used to say that if you don't have anything nice to say, stfu, but if I had to give a friend ONE word of advice about buying an Ovation, it would be: Don't!

don't forget that you'll have to use headphones when overdubbing.

This info probably won't help you very much & in a nut sack, the answer is: I Don't Know.
However, I've used audacity, but I switched to Magix Music Maker & it works 10x better than audacity (for me). It's a freeware download you can get at download.com , BUT it's a windows based piece of software, so you'd have to repartition your system & run some form of windows OS.
Whichever system you use, running 2 mics is Not going to improve sound quality & I don't know that they would play on separate tracks - if That's what you're shoot'n for. I recommend either doing each track individually OR make the 1st track with both voice & guitar using 1 mic, then going back & overdub the lead guitars & harmony vocal tracks using the right &/or left for stereo effect.
If you'd like to hear an end result of doing all tracks individually (in this case only 4), go to http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default … dID=525907 I think this link will work; if not search for jwildhair's follies & give a listen. "***(take 2)" uses 4 tracks & the other is guitar & voice on a single track.

Topic: Unknown Brand "S*" (1 replies, posted in Guitars and accessories)
I bought a beautiful abalone & mother of pearl inlaid guitar, but I don't know what brand it is.
The case has a molded S on it that resembles the 's' on scheffield guitar's homepage, but I couldn't match It to any of their cases I've seen listed for sale.
It's an acoustic/electric with a built-in Fishman Prefix preamp. It has 2 'f' holes. (I've tried to look inside, short of taking it apart.)
I have plenty of pictures that I could send if anyone thinks that they could assist me in figuring out what it is.
I've gone through all the S's in the blue book at the pawn shop & tried to cross-reference online to no avail.
