Well as we are all introducing ourselves....Here I go.......

I am Clare, 31 on 7th march, woo hoo, cant wait.....Single mum to two kids 3 & 5 and live in Sunny Essex, Uk.......Only started palying when i got offered a Fender Fishman Electro-Acoustic about two weeks into this year [2008] so am real new to the whole guitar thing......Always been a bit creative with words, songs and poems, but never with music, always wanted to learn an instrument, and figured now was a good time...well as good as any......I dont so much have a problem making chords [being double jointed kinda helps stretch those fingers about all over the shop] its the strumming i'm kinda struggling with!

Any hints and tips are always welcomed!!

Cheers

James

If it makes you feel any better, when iwas younger and had hair down to the top of my butt, i used one of my dads razors and shaved a 2 inch piece out of the top of my head because a sibling wouldnt give me a comb [go on laugh you know you want to smile]  i was about 6 at the time and thought i could hide it by shoving my hair down the sink and combing my hair in a comb over style.......Amazingly thou i got found out...>Folks were not happy and have never let me forget it!!!!

COuld of been worse.........i was like an opposite mr majecka!!!

Oh and i hate it when people who drive big cars/vans and trucks think that just cos they are bigger than your little ford focus you are gonna move so they can drive how the hell they want.......Have some consideration you fools!!!!

i used to live in london and i really hate cyclist who think that traffic lights and signals dont apply to them!!  Bugs the backside off of me does that!

Also the attitude of some people in london, Im a friendly sort, will walk down the street and smile and say hello to people, but there are some, wh look at you like you are dirt, and wont look at you for fear of getting mugged or owt like that......London is like everywhere else, good and bad places....and yeah there is a lot of scummy people in this world, but dont tar us all!!!!!!

People who let their dogs crap on the street..........AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG   buy 150 nappy sacks from asda for 75p you tight dirty ********    you know you all agree with me here!!!!  I have a dog and if i can walk my dog and two kids and still pick up his mess then why cant everyone else......Cos your too lazy to bend over and pick it up....Dirt bags!!!!

drivers who hit your car and drive off!!!  BUG BUG BUG

Oh my i am ranting here....still im gonna continue........   wink

Jobsworths and power hungry people who give the impression that by you asking them to do their job its a big thing....duhhhh isnt that what you get paid for!!!!!   (used to run a pub so have seen plenty of these!!!  but [apologies if you are one] Thurrock council workers take some beating on this)

chavs......i dont like to generalize....but what is the point.......Get a job or go in the army....try to find some use for your silly little lives and stop hanging round in the parks where my kids wanna play!!!!!

Rant over

For now wink

Ohhh i like this thread!!!  well done who ever started it!!
