I think not,
as said before its the thin edge of the wedge as the other football associations have never liked the fact that such a small and close nit set of countries get 4 chances in the major competitions and once the precedent is set? To all you teddy bears out there "nay luck" last night, c'moan the Jags (I am a tortured soul)

Old Doll,
forget the click lock its for dummies just get no more nails or similar and smedge it on the back with sealant gun , slide into place and put some panel pins under to support until set and Bobs your uncle, you could even use tape to hold till set. As for the bunny eared pink guitar there are plenty of ears on the road at the moment!

Upyerkilt, I know that you are on GMT as your only 2 Bens and a Glen to the right of me, but the time that comes up with the posts are not so I wondered what time zone that is? Well done Old Doll I am Scottish and like Ireland our biggest export is our people, usually the good ones with get up and go, got up and went! Also the continuing clearances is the result of house prices which bare no relation to the real world of inflation and wages( a 2 up and down in certain spots in London will bag u 8 room manor house with 30 acres). Talking of Haggis or is that Haggi in the plural, have you seen the amount of roadkill at this time of year poor wee beasties, Slasher/gorefest and horror movies are just not for me I have enough demons without raising more but its the de-sensitization of the young that worries me and a case in point would be Jamie Boldger. Sorry to end on that sad note but the woodchip in the hall has it coming(is that not a lyric in a Pulp song).

Having just moved house and everything is needing done, to come here and meander through the random thoughts like a James Joyce narrative is in fact a guilty pleasure (old Calvinistic work ethic) but a blessed relief from the unrelenting DIY. I would like to say thanks for all the kind replies and have a quick Q&A. What time zone are you on ? A chipolata is a small sauage. How do you add your quotes and name graphics? I like music that can be parred down to a voice and a single instrument, I think most great songs do this. Old Doll, there go the Irish claiming all thats good in the world! Halloween is firmly rooted to Celtic and early Pagan religious festivals and as part of the Celtic deaspera you only have a part claim. Here we used to carve out Turnips(almost a kind of punishment) and I think that would pre-date your little Spanish oranges. Well back to the wallpaper stripper and as it is for me there is no wedge at the end to keep me sweet.

So there really people out there, I'm a decorator for my sins in a previous life, I stumled onto chordie as I have only come back to the guitar after 14yrs. of letting my spirit wilt, my fingers had been stolen and replaced with chipolatas and the songs that I thought I could remember where like shadows cast on a flowing river but the pleasure of rediscovery evens it all out.

This is the first time I've ever read posts on any forum and I have to say that I'm totally confused as to who is saying what to whom, but in no way has it diminished the pleasure of getting oblique glances of other things and in a kind of organic way it is all rather satisfying, this is also my first ever post and I would like to say hello to you all where ever you are on our beautiful dirtball,
