I'm, in agreement with the tight bond III  crowd. Or a good two part epoxy and clamps. I'd stay away from Guerilla though . Ive never seen good results from it and I've rerepaired many a piece of furniture after Uncle Joe tried to fix with it. Remember, I'm not a real Doctor; I just play one on tv

If I were to buy a an acoustic/electric bass could I use it thru a normal amp or an acoustic amp?or do I have to have a bass amp?
Also what about straight bass instruments thru microphones and or sound system PA  thx

Our Lady                                                        m. mcvicker 2008

On this pier I step ashore
with my wits.. and not much more
among this crowd I’m pushed along
Many faces foreign tongues

I saw the lady as we sailed to sea
I thought her light not as bright as it used to be
and as the fog swept her breast
disappointment filled my chest
as we steamed from Ellis island

And the thousands that came to die for her
the land.. their blood  inters
The pride of many , the hopes of all
as we watch our love ones fall

she was there when we when we left the yard
Her eyes were closed, not to see
With her book, held in high regard,
she almost took the breath from me

Now with hope, I stand on another stage
Ancestral land I have engaged
With so many who leave in disgust
the land given in trust
to those who would stain her page

Oh those that came and we that leave
Sure we all know for those we grieve
Their lives were lost for which we stand
And it is we who became the ghosts of Ellis Island

Nonsense, but most appreciated, with apologies for being a creative spirit..What is Art anyway without conflict and emotion? That is the whole point; to inspire people to react in any way... But again i apologize for offending anyone especially young ones....marcalan.... and I stand corrected; but defiant.......
Thank you Phil
My Love to you all

There is no amusement park
like the southern Indian ocean
for a young person to test  their soul and human ability
And to go into battle with only herself and Christ above
I say Good Job you to Abby Sunderland

You’re Mighty Oceans                                   M. MCVICKER 6/2010

Calling all  ships
I’m out here alone
Calling all ships
I didn’t start out this way
calling ships, I’m out here alone
but I’m ok  and I ain’t sinking like a stone

But I feel so heavy sometimes
that I might not take another breath
My limbs are swollen with emotion
Crushed by creation’s mighty waves
They knock sense out of man’s wisdom
that leaks into my being that I have to cling to

Blink, my eyes, new thoughts happen
the others just vanish
Lead me away from evil
blink again, what was that I just thought?

Calling all ships
I’m out here alone
Calling all ships
I didn’t start out this way

At the harbor
A  safe place they say
I don’t know that on this day
The stars are closer now it seems
The blue is at my fingers but cold
turned to gray

Calling all ships
where are you?
I cant call but I cry out
I’m here
I’m here

This took me with you.......again.  You're so good

reminds me of the First Addition song  "I Just Dropped in To see What Condition My Condition is in"

Anybody getting a virus warning when first going to the forum?

zurf , youve got to be kidding. The bass solo is what rules if done , especially in jazz. And this little gal with jeff beck was right on , Tal Wilkenfeld
No work horse better than takes it all thru, you see becks response?
