Topic: Aural skills/solfege software (2 replies, posted in Guitars and accessories)
Hi, I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask.. But does anybody have an idea of what software (it doesn't matter if it's non-free) is the best for developing a good ear? i really need some professional stuff, because I'm already trained in intervals and such but I want to go a little deeper (perfect pitch, chord progressions etc.)
Thanks already, have a nice day

If you look at the solo you can see 8va--------------------| above some notes notated. I know that it has something to do with octaves. Can somebody explain it properly?

Topic: Bending on high E string ? (2 replies, posted in Electric)
The tab book of Smashing Pumpkins' Cherub Rock says that I have to bend the 17th fret on the high e string during the solo.
But how am I supposed to bend when the fretboard is air ?

You can also use the piano if you have one. So make the E string sound like the low D on the Piano
