music itself is the greatest motivation to learn any instrument. my motivation is that i have to create tunes which are always around us created unintensionally but not recorded.

7. Linkin Park
6. Mettallica
5. Disturbed

Re: Does nobody know what a chord is? (46 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
Hey welcome2myhead,
Are you crazy? I definately oppose you. Music is all about sounds. Sounds that people would love to listen and wont forget. So the most important thing is to play and it doesn't matter at all whether you playing with tabs or staffs or chords. I know only the chords but that doesn't bother me at all.
The best example is John Lenon who learnt guitar with only a book of chords.
So I guess you insulted everyone

Hi ALL
Hmmm.....
I cant understand what wrong is in metals or hip hops.
I think every music genre has their best compositions.
Linkin park is a newage band but if you listen to NUMB it will feel real goood.
or dont you wanna listen Nothing Else Matters by METTALICA?
I love all these and for Metalz, you will find those rather hard to play

Re: GIRLS & BOYS (10 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
Hi PHILIPS,
I am just 24 but I also have that type tennacity to know and learn about music. Music is not all about playing and listening but also to know about the their history and the impacts on society etc. It is often see the music patterns are mostly depended on the place from where it is born. Like if you come to the plain land of INDIA you will find that the original music pattern is much softer having some spirituality in the lyrics and compositions.
One thing, really surprising is that in 150 or 200 years ago in Bengal there was a folk music pattern called BAUL(pronounced like BOWL) which can be compared to the country songs. In BAUL the songs are very rich in spiritual lyrics and fantastic compositions but with only one or two instruments -1 EKTARA (an one string instrument, the notes are changed by the amount of pressure you create on the wood part, i will send an picture to you of that otherwise you would get no idea), 2 DUGI( a leather instrument). The singer played that two instrument himself with singing in those days. EKTARA is a very hard instrument to play and it is almost rare now a days.
Besides VATIALI is an other form of folk music in Bengal from days past. it was created by the sailors of bengal and the lyrics included their lifestyle and relation with the river and lakes which is a main part in the geography of Bengal.
I BAUL the lyricists expressed their opinion about what happens to human being after death and more different spiritual facts.
This was only very few part of the Bengali music genres which is a part of the INDIAN music so it will take huge time to talk about the whole matter and ofcourse i need to do some homeworks to tell you more.
I am sending you a photo of EKTARA if I get your ID.
take care and i will get back to you very soon
wishes

Re: GIRLS & BOYS (10 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
Hi PHILIPS,
To me its not like that as you said the question is not interesting but it is.
The question I think is most interesting is that what the girls prefer, rock, hard rock, blues, metalz or acoustic softs etc.
I do agree with you that in India(where i live) people find it raelly surprising to see girls amd women playing guitar or Drums on stage.
Most of the Indian girls have the tennacity to prefer soft numbers and they really hate musics just a bit noisy. Most of the girls in India dont have any idea about Metal or Hard rocks. I know it is not the same way in other countries.
I shared my views here and let's see WHAT WOMEN THINK
