Started playing August 2007, been playing 4-5 hours everyday since. It has really paid off, had my first paying gig last friday, was able to perform for four hours.
Chordie has been a fanstastic help, especially the forum part, I don't reply to many threads, but I do read them and I'd like to thank everyone who contributes to making this such a great community!

Hiya fellow Chordians!
I was unsure where this topic would fit so I posted it in the chat corner.
Now on to the matter at hand, I've just started writing songs, and a piano would fit into most arrangements.
I was offered my mother's old piano but it is really out of tune. I don't know how to go about tuning it or even if it would be possible to tune it.
So any suggestions how I should tune it/get it tuned would be greatly appreciated!
And by the way, thank you all for making this into a wonderful community!
