It's Poco Allegretto Op. 241 No. 16 in F.  I already have the first half, but there is a minor section that I can't find.  Anyone know where it might be?

Does anybody know the name of the acoustic instrument used on this track?  Is there a photo?

I'm thinking about buying a classical guitar and I hope you all can steer me in the right direction.  On with the questions:

What's a good, inexpensive (~$150) model?  I know Yamaha has a good rep with beginner classicals, but what about Ibanez, Takamine or Washburn?

Is the difference between a spruce top compared to cedar that noticeable to the average ear?

I like medium gauge steel strings.  How does that translate to nylons?

Lastly, when guitar sizes are specified to a particular scale, what exactly is being measured?  Nut-to-bridge distance?

TIA.

Play on,

The lighter strings should help.  Also, make sure your thumb is pressing aginst the back of the guitar neck and not hooked over the side.  This will allow you to squeeze the neck harder.

Hi,

How do I make Flat View a permanent choice for all forums?  I checked my profile, but I don't see any options for it.

Thanks,

Steve

Definitely.  I'd never buy a guitar without playing it first.  I just wanted a good place to start off.  Thanks!

Hi,

Can anybody out there suggest a good, "warm" sounding steel stringed acoustic?  Something that sounds close to a classical guitar, so instrumentals sound nice, but can still project well if I'm just strumming/picking contemporary tunes.  Price is an issue as well.  Under $300.

Thanks,

Steve
