Hi,

Ok.  The basic blues scale is slightly different than the A minor pentonic.  Low E string the same. A string pick notes on the 5th, 6th,  & 7th frets.  On the D same as AM pentonic. G strings pick notes at 5th, 7th & 8th frets. B  & high E strings same.

There are other blues scales. Enjoy.
